The Verma household consists of two brothers, Vijay and Sharad (Jeetendra and Govinda respectively), Vijay's spouse, Ganga (Reena Roy), and their daughter. Sharad is single and is finding out in school, whereas Vijay runs the family on his revenue. In school, Sharad meets with Punam (Meenakshi Sheshadhri) and each are attracted to one another. Ganga and Vijay get them married, however allow them a married life solely after they full their research, which they accomplish that. They're devastated to be taught that Punam can't be a mom, so Ganga lets Punam mom her little one. Quickly Sharad will get a job, which will get him to re-locate to a different metropolis, and there are tearful good-byes. Punam decides to maintain Ganga's little one together with her. However Ganga has been type to Punam and Sharad for a cause, and now the time has come for payback.
