Acid Horizon follows marine ecologist Dr. Erik Cordes on a harrowing deep-sea expedition to trace down the "supercoral", a pressure of the deep-water coral Lophelia pertusa that appears to own the distinctive genetic functionality to thrive in a low-pH ocean.
