Ayyappan Pillai (Karamana Janardanan Nair) & Thankappan Pillai (Thilakan), buddies, neighbors & enterprise companions, plans to have Thankappan's son Raju (Rahman) marry Ayyappan's daughter Radha (Ahalya). Nonetheless, their children, each of whom who have been in love with another person, blocks the wedding by inflicting misunderstandings between their households. However when Raju's & Radha's romances fail & they fall in love with one another, now they must reunite their warring households, for them to unite themselves.
