An octogenarian couple, Shankar & Ila Bagchi, lives a lifetime of isolation confined in a single room of a giant, empty and time-worn home in a metropolis. Apprehensive of their future and unwilling to endure a deteriorated life, they write to the President of India, pleading responsible of what they imagine to be a criminal offense they've dedicated and asking for mercy. Whereas awaiting the results, they check out determined measures to fulfil their long-cherished want. Impressed from a real story, this movie explores the lifetime of the couple, by way of contemplative aesthetics, who exhausted by their current, pursue a shared perception that challenges the established order.
