Kindly Dr. Gupta (Ashok Kumar) is getting ready to retire, and hopes to marry his daughter Jyoti (Zarina Wahab) to his affiliate Dr. Anand (Parikshit Sahani). Anand doesn't have time to romance, or help Dr. Gupta on his giant egg farm, so he hires a university buddy as property supervisor, Mukesh (Vijayendra). Jyoti is entranced by Mukesh, and in opposition to her fathers needs decides to marry him. Mukesh has his eyes set on the great life, however unknown to Jyoti he's already married to Geeta (Sarika), whom he deserted with a baby when he discovered she was Anpadh (illiterate). Dr. Gupta has an accident one night time, injuring a girl named Geeta and brings her dwelling to recuperate. He teaches her the way to mingle with excessive society, gown and eat correctly, and ensures the training of her son. In return for his decency and compassion, Jyoti prepares to marry Dr. Gupta. When her father arrives for the festivities, he acknowledges Mukesh.
