An English-German filmmaking couple retreat to Fårö for the summer season to every write screenplays for his or her upcoming movies in an act of pilgrimage to the place that impressed Ingmar Bergman. Because the summer season and their screenplays advance, the traces between actuality and fiction begin to blur towards the backdrop of the Island's wild panorama.
