As the US recovered from the bloody aftermath of the Civil Struggle, Congress handed the Reorganization Act in 1866, that created the first-ever all-Black peacetime regiments. These six regiments could be lowered to 4 – the ninth and tenth Cavalry and the twenty fourth and twenty fifth Infantry – and shortly earn the moniker Buffalo Troopers. Though they by no means acquired the true and full recognition they deserved, Black Patriots: Buffalo Troopers, will inform their outstanding story of their valor, bravery, and repair. From the sophisticated skirmishes within the Southwest towards Native People to the heroic battles on international soil to the continuing battle to be handled as first-class residents, the Buffalo Troopers served with satisfaction, dignity, and perception in defending a free America.
