Lonely, unstable gasoline station attendant Melinda is uninterested in being overshadowed by her extra assured, outgoing co-worker Sheila. When the gasoline station is held up at gunpoint by Billy, a determined man in want of fast money, Melinda finds a possibility to make a reference to the robber, no matter who will get damage.
