Henry IV usurps the English throne, units in movement the factious Battle of the Roses and now faces a rise up led by Northumberland scion Hotspur. Henry's inheritor, Prince Hal, is a ne'er-do-well carouser who drinks and causes mischief along with his low-class mates, particularly his rotund father determine, John Falstaff. To redeem his title, Hal could have to decide on between allegiance to his actual father and loyalty to his buddy.
