Teenager Janaki and her scrawny paramour go to town behind her mom’s again. He’s organized for a trip from his boss, a sullen man who tells Janaki that he is aware of she’s lied to her mom. The trio drive into town the place the youngsters are besotted with the lights, the shops and the seaside. They lose monitor of time and are compelled to remain the night time in a bare-bones motel the place the horrors start. A magic realist portrait of India’s rising pains.
