Katie, a former skilled ice skater, is employed by the king of San Senova, Alexander, to assist his daughter in a Christmas ice skating efficiency. As Katie spends time within the citadel and with the king, she and Alex start to develop emotions for one another and in the end fall in love. However will the tradition-loving individuals of San Senova enable their king to make a foreigner their queen?
