Adventurous flight attendant Sydney’s plans for a tropical Christmas get delayed when she helps an unaccompanied minor get dwelling to Chicago to her dad Jonathan, a good-looking widower and investigative reporter. Confronted with a scarcity of out-going flights, Sydney is marooned for a number of days within the Windy Metropolis – as soon as her dwelling as a small lady — and tags together with Jonathan, his daughter, and their exuberantly festive household till she will discover a connecting flight. Jonathan makes her a deal: he helps her chase down the story of how her late mother and father met, and he or she helps him to write down the proper Christmas story and preserve his job, and alongside the way in which, sparks type between them.
