Sincere mint worker, Ghanshyam (Shreeram Lagoo) will get framed for homicide by Joseph D'Souza (Amjad Khan), and has to flee from the police. He's separated from his spouse, Radhika (Seema Deo), two sons, and a blind daughter. Years later, Ghanshyam, after being compelled to work for Joseph to print pretend rupee notes, is wealthy and generally known as Vikram Singh; his daughter and spouse are homeless and destitute; his elder son, Ravi (Vinod Khanna) is a burglar at evening, and a wealthy and respectable man named Kunwar Dilip Singh in the course of the day; his different son, Sushil (Raj Babbar) is a police inspector, adopted by the Police Commissioner (Om Shivpuri). Joseph, now generally known as Tripathi, involves know that Ravi is Ghanshyam's son, and units a scheme that may carry sure dying to Ghanshyam and his household.
