Mack is a former soldier who, after the struggle, moved to a city with a nuclear energy plant, the place almost everyone works. Life is peaceable for him there, till a gang of mercenaries led by Ron storm the reactor and take everyone hostage, together with a bunch of kids on a faculty journey. Now Mack is in a race towards the clock and should use his army coaching to defeat Ron earlier than he places the reactor into meltdown. Alongside the way in which he discovers Ron’s motive, which unravels a better secret Mack’s city is hiding.
