After shedding his spouse seven years earlier, the eccentric Dr. John Dolittle, famed physician and veterinarian of Queen Victoria’s England, hermits himself away behind the excessive partitions of Dolittle Manor with solely his menagerie of unique animals for firm. However when the younger queen falls gravely sick, a reluctant Dolittle is compelled to set sail on an epic journey to a legendary island searching for a remedy, regaining his wit and braveness as he crosses outdated adversaries and discovers wondrous creatures.
