Kunjunni (Mammootty), in an inebriated situation arrives on a wet evening to buy Nellur Mana, which is believed to be haunted by the ghost of Savithri (Dhanya Mary Varghese). Being loopy about previous homes and palaces, Kunjunni, who's in to realty enterprise was lured into this deal by Gireeshan (Manoj Okay. Jayan), the son of Guptan Namboothiri (Thilakan), a feudal land lord. In a battle with Kunjunni, his youthful son had fell from the terrace and had obtained paralyzed under the hips. Now Guptan Namboothiri needs to avenge for it. Upon reaching the previous home, Kunjunni is attacked by the goons of Gireeshan, however he escapes miraculously. An atheist, Kunjunni leads a carefree life away from the traditions of his household and is inlove with Thulasimani (Kaniha), the daughter of Pisharody, the previous buddy of his late father, who was additionally a well-known tantrik.
