Jaya lives in a village referred to as Chandangaon in India alongside along with her widower dad, Gokul, who works for a residing as a compounder, however calls himself a Homeopathic physician and dispenses Arnica for every kind of illnesses, particularly since there isn't any certified physician within the village. Since Jaya is or marriageable age, he has organized her marriage with hard-of-hearing Shiv, the son of Dayashankar, who's the President of the Gram Panchayat.
