Gunman Flame and his companion Citron assassinate Nazi collaborators for the Danish resistance. Assigned targets by their Allies-connected chief, Aksel Winther, they relish the chance to start concentrating on the Nazis themselves. After they start to doubt the validity of their assignments, their morally sophisticated job turns into much more labyrinthine.
