A rich younger man is conned into staging a faux kidnapping with a purpose to be a hero and win the love of a lady he is head over heels in love with. However when one of many employed kidnappers is unintentionally killed through the charade, he is pressured to really save her life whereas not revealing that it has been a ruse all alongside.
