Ram Kumar (Kader Khan) is the eldest of 4 sons in his household. He has introduced up his three youthful brothers, Shyam (Kanu Chauhan), Sohan (Jeetendra), and Mohan (Rishi Kapoor), with love and fatherly care, collectively along with his spouse, Sita (Asha Parekh). Sita has a youthful sister, Gita (Juhi Chawla), who additionally lives with them. Gita is a child-widow. Ram doesn't approve of anybody referring to Gita as such. Ram decides that it's time for Shyam and Sohan to get married, and he picks their brides for them. Shyam marries Mona, and Sohan marries Sheela (Anita Raj).
