Henry and Maggie attend the birthday celebration of a neighborhood writer, the place his son and stepson reenact a historic 18th century twin. Somebody, nevertheless, has loaded the vintage pistol with an actual musket ball, so when son pulls the set off, he kills his stepbrother in entrance of a roomful of witnesses. Henry and Maggie have to determine who wished the stepson lifeless and why.
