Joseph Harris, a legendary, however troubled playwright involves small Michigan city at Christmastime to mount his newest play. Greeting the cynical New Yorker is a younger, aspiring author who challenges his hero to be the icon he’d idolized. Nevertheless, Harris needs no a part of Michigan, small cities and he has no real interest in being the younger man’s hero.
