The movie's plot follows that of the sport carefully. Nariko, a member of an historic tribe who've guarded an historic magical sword for hundreds of years, is charged with bringing the sword to its destined wielder, a deity reincarnated who will deliver peace to the land. However on her quest, Nariko should wield the sword herself in opposition to the forces of King Bohan, who needs to own the weapon himself.
