Himalay Putra (the son of the Himalayas) begins with the love story of Suraj (Vinod Khanna) and Seema (Hema Malini). Seema being the daughter of a wealthy businessman and Suraj being a police inspector with a modest earnings, are destined to face the objection of Seema's father (Amrish Puri) to their marriage. Amrish creates misunderstanding in Seema's coronary heart for Suraj and he or she begins wanting upon him as a grasping one who discarded her love for the sake of cash. However the issue is that she has already acquired pregnant by him and after the demise of her father, she strikes to the area of the Himalayas, giving start to Abhay (Akshaye Khanna). Abhay grows up misunderstanding his father by studying his mom's model of the previous occasions. He falls in love with Esha (Anjala Zaveri) who's the daughter of their neighbor - Main Mathur (Satish Shah) however love is much less necessary for him. What's extra necessary for him is to find his father and settle scores with him for his mom's sorrows.
