After being bodily attacked by his loving spouse Carmen, a sequence of unsettling incidents lead her husband Pat to query simply what is occurring to her. It is solely when Carmen cannot discover her personal home in the future, that she and Pat are able to face the unimaginable: Carmen has early onset Alzheimer's. As her cognition deteriorates, and the time attracts nearer when Carmen will now not even acknowledge her devoted husband, Pat finds refuge in the one place left that the illness cannot attain -- his recollections of their life collectively.
