Kathir (Udhayanidhi) a Madurai lad goes to Coimbatore with a goal and really quickly flips for the charms of a good looking Pavithra (Nayanthara) who's their neighbor. However Pavithra is already in love along with her pal Gautham (Sundar) who's 'not a pleasant man'. Kathir who was searching for his pal in school Mayil (Santhanam) bumps into out of the blue and he turns love advisor for Kathir.
