Set within the late 18th century in the course of the early levels of the British Raj, the movie tells the story of dual brothers separated at delivery. Pulikesi XXIII, the silly elder brother, turns into a puppet of his uncle, the Chief Minister, whereas Ukraputhan, the clever youthful brother, turns into a patriot intent on saving his land and his brother.
