Fur trappers Abel and Henry Iron wrestle to make a residing in a dying business within the Rocky Mountains. Following of their late father's footsteps, they journey the mountains looking for beaver, carving out a meager existence within the western wilderness. When Abel encounters a band of Shoshone Indians, a misunderstanding leaves one indian useless and the Iron Brothers on the run. Collectively, Abel and Henry flee into the mountains to flee the soldiers which are pursuing them. In the long run, they'll study if the bond of brotherhood is sufficient to save them.
