Rwik and Sahana are journalists from Calcutta, who go to `Jhumura`, a fictitious village in Purulia to do a narrative on `Jhumur`, an virtually dying people artwork. The younger duo meets an aged couple, who're conventional Jhumur artists. Their dialog leads Rwik and Sahana to find an unheard story of affection, hatred and compassion that begin with the tune of Jhumur and culminate within the serene locales of Purulia. This movie is a lyrical saga that revolves across the life, love and struggles of Jhumur performers of Bengal.
