Suraj has been a slacker all his grownup life. He hates any form of work - slightly it is paying or volunteer. In the future he gate-crashes a marriage ceremony and finds out that the groom is to stay along with his In-laws. To his delight, he finds out that the bride has an single sister. And so Suraj begins to woo the single sister, Geeta. Slowly Geeta falls in love with Suraj, and with the approval of her rich dad, Rai Bahadur Chunilal Sanghvi, each get married. Suraj now appears ahead to a simple life at his In-laws, however that's not to be so, for Geeta needs to maneuver out. Suraj goes together with Geeta, however then begins displaying his true colours, and brazenly calls for a share in his rich father-in-law's property, even when it means taking the household to courtroom.
