Kaliyoonjal film portrays a brother to a disturbed sister. The sister, performed by Shalini, is mentally disturbed if any factor goes towards her will. She is possessive of her brother and creates a havoc when she will get offended. Enter Shobhana who marries Mammootty and Dileep, who performs Shobhana's brother and marries Shalini, and issues begin up within the household.
