Kamali is a happy-go-lucky lady from a small city. She is a weak scholar who's hardly excited by research when she falls in love with a studious boy in Chennai who aspires to make it to IIT Madras. She decides to take her research significantly and convinces her father to go for larger research. With the assistance of a retired professor in her village, she begins making ready for exams to affix IIT Madras if solely to satisfy her love.
