The native prepare is a sight to behold within the morning, overloaded with crowds preventing to get inside. A particular compartment reserved for girls seems as a short lived oasis – a haven for solitude and contemplation. Director Rebana Liz John questions the ladies, who reveal what it means to maintain ambitions alive inside an oppressive patriarchal system. Black and white imagery evocatively captures the main points of the ladies’s expertise on this world. They mirror on their lives, throughout generations, with humour, disappointment and defiance, forming a posh tapestry whose frequent floor is endurance and survival.
