'Mahathma' is a 1996 Malayalam motion movie. Directed by Shaji Kailas, with Suresh Gopi, Ganesh Kumar, Devan, Rajan P. Dev, Biju Menon and Ramya Krishnan showing in lead roles, this movie revolved the expansion of an underworld don. The story is unfolded in flashback, travelling by means of the reminiscences of Devadevan, the protagonist. Produced at an enormous price range, the movie bombed at field workplace. It's an adaptation of the 1983 Al Pacino movie Scarface.
