Venugopal takes his mentor's brother Rajan underneath his wing and makes him his supervisor. Venu falls for Devi whom he later realizes is already engaged to Rajan. Rajan marries Devi with Venu's blessing. However quickly after the marriage Rajan begins to have interaction is shady actions in his quest for fast cash and this strains the connection between Venu and Rajan.
