Village boy Monayi comes visiting his cousin & confidante Kuttan (Hari Nair). Kuttan is in love together with his faculty mate (Deepthi) however their love story hits a roadblock when her father decides to marry her off to another person. The couple decides to get their marriage registered however because of some unexpected circumstances, Monayi steps in to take Kuttan's place!
