Ramprasad is appointed as a house-keeper for Bhavani Shankar Bajpai's ancestral house, gained after a hard-fought authorized battle. Ramprasad needs to marry Kusum however can not as he does not earn sufficient or has a good place to dwell. Circumstances change and Kusum and her father come and dwell within the Bhavani Shankar's ancestral house. Bhavani Shankar, his brother and Bhavani Shankar's supervisor come one after the other to evict the trespassers and are infatuated by Kusum.
