The Principal of New Period Excessive Faculty in Panchgani finds an orphan, Raju, who had misplaced his dad and mom to plague, brings him house, and enrolls him within the faculty. Raju notices that whereas each pupil has dad and mom and guests, he has nobody to name his personal. He will get distraught and is assured by the Principal that he does have a relative in Chacha Nehru (Jawaharlal Nehru, the Indian Prime Minister). Raju believes him, and when he finds out by his instructor, Uma, that Nehru will likely be delivering a speech in Chowpatty, Bombay, he sneaks off within the trunk of a automobile. Upon arrival he faces harsh realities, his cash is nearly stolen, and he's befriended by a cynical deranged male, who tells him that Nehru is now a speech-prone politician and is unable to listen to what the widespread citizen has to say...
