Every week within the lifetime of the exploited, baby newspaper sellers in turn-of-the-century New York. When their writer, Joseph Pulitzer, tries to squeeze a little bit extra revenue out of their labours, they manage a strike, solely to be confronted with the Pulitzer's hard-ball ways.
