For years Nicky has been consuming to try to overlook. The issue is, each time he hits the bottle previous reminiscences come pouring in together with the booze and it is out of the blue Friday evening yet again. And in Nicky's previous, Friday evening meant only one thing--after-hours at Fortunate's Tavern for an evening of consuming and taking pictures pool with Doug and the boys. Drinks have been free, 9 Ball was the sport, and everybody knew the foundations up entrance . Or did they? Guided by his conscience, Nicky is compelled to relive what started as an off-the-cuff evening out with the fellows and ended with an occasion so tragic that he has by no means been in a position to put it behind him.
