'Nishi Padma' is a 1970 Bengali drama movie written and directed by Aravinda Mukherjee, based mostly on a brief story 'Hinger Kochuri' by Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay, and starring Uttam Kumar and Sabitri Chatterjee as leads. This movie was remade within the Hindi as 'Amar Prem' (1972), directed by Shakti Samanta.
