Oonche Log (Hindi: ऊँचे लोग, lit. Excessive Society Individuals) was a 1965 Hindi movie directed by Phani Majumdar. It was based mostly on play Main Chandrakant by famous Tamil movie director-screenwriter, Okay. Balachander. The primary character roles of this movie have been performed by Ashok Kumar, Raaj Kumar and Feroz Khan. Its lyrics have been composed by Majrooh Sultanpuri and the music was given by Chitragupta. The movie was shot at Vauhini Studios, Chennai, was additionally famous as first massive hit of newcomer Feroz Khan, who was famous for his delicate efficiency in opposition to veterans like Raaj Kumar and Ashok Kumar. On the thirteenth Nationwide Movie Awards it gained the award for Second Finest Function Movie in Hindi. It was later remade by Okay. Balachander himself as Main Chandrakanth (1966), starring J.
