Based mostly on Macbeth, PADDAYI is the story of Madhava and Sugandhi. They're newlyweds from the fishing neighborhood in Karnataka, Southern India. Pushed by a Tulu deityʼs prophecy coupled with Sugandhiʼs ambition, Madhava murders Dinesh, illegally inherits Dineshʼ property and produce upon himself an eponymous tragedy.
