Usha (Zarina Wahab) involves her sister's home for aid from a horrible tragedy of her life which is the unintentional demise of her lover Ravi performed by Shankar. Within the new place, she meets Ramankutty, performed by Nedumudi Venu, who's the pal of Vasu Menon (Bharath Gopi), husband of her sister. Their friendship ultimately turns into love, however Ramankutty's mom doesn't enable this proposal. Usha slowly realizes that Vasu Menon's emotions for her are wayward, however she doesn't inform her sister as she fears that it will spoil their household. So Usha decides to return to her dwelling, on the way in which she meets Ramankutty, who has satisfied his mom about marrying Usha.
