A singer Pappan (Rahman) is killed in a motorcycle accident, however Yamaraj the Lord of Demise (Thilakan) realizes that Pappan has a number of extra days to stay. Yamarajan permits Pappan to enter into our bodies of different useless individuals together with that of Inspector Devdas (Mohanlal) in a bid to inform his girlfriend Sarina (Lizy) that Pappan is useless, and to sit up for another person in life.
