Subhadramma is a gutsy girl who raises her two daughters single-handedly after her husband Narayankutty deserts her. Shivankutty, her neighbor is a linesman who's in love together with her daughter Parvathy. After the preliminary resistance, Subhadramma agrees to their marriage. Nevertheless, issues change when Narayankutty returns.
