Karthi and Riya elope one early morning to Ooty, fearing that the elders within the household won't settle for their inter-religious relationship. They return to their respective properties after a few days after having a combat. They persuade their family members that they hate one another and vow by no means to see one another once more. The movie would then hint the eventual course of their lives.
