Pavalakkodi is a 1934 Tamil language movie starring M. Okay. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar and directed by Okay. Subramanyam. It was the primary movie for each of them. The movie's music was composed by Papanasam Sivan. Pavalakkodi tells the legendary love story of Arjuna (Thyagaraja Bhagavathar) and Pavalakkodi (S. D. Subbulakshmi), the princess of Coral Island.
