Vava, son of Kurishuveettil Mariamma, a lawyer popularly often called Vakeelamma. When Vava is chosen to go the festivities for the 12 months, the Thekkeyangaadi group objects saying that Vava, born to a Christian Mom and a Brahmin father (Melpathoor Vishnu Narayanan Namboothiri, a singer), was by no means baptized, and so couldn't head the festivities. Following this objection Vava decides to get baptized, however Vakeelamma says that he should first search his father's permission. Vava goes to see his father who's now a famend singer. He's welcomed by his father's supervisor Sivankutty, Sivankutty's sister Gayathri and others. However there's somebody who needs to see Vava lifeless. Sivan Kutty kills Namboothiri. Vava kills Sivan for revenge. So for the rituals Vava turns into Brahman. He will get arrested and his mom begins backing up into the fireplace and dies. Quickly after his jail sentence, the warring faction set their distinction apart and invite Vava to go the church festivities
