Highschool athlete Cyd Loughlin lives alone along with her depressive father in South Carolina, perpetually longing to get away from all of it. When her aunt, well-known novelist Miranda Ruth, agrees to host her for a number of weeks throughout the summer season, Cyd jumps on the alternative. Whereas there, she falls for a lady within the neighborhood, whilst she and her aunt gently problem one another within the realms of intercourse and spirit.
